Getting ready for the diagnostician visit : a few pointers.

In order to allow perfect control of your property, the diagnostician must be able to easily access all parts. Tidy up, declutter, clean up… Do everything you can to facilitate visual checks, measurement and various tests.

If certain parts to be examined are high up (beams for a termite diagnosis, heat pump for a DPE, etc.), keep a stepladder or a ladder handy. If some parts are locked, gather all your keys now to avoid wasting time during your real estate diagnosis.

If a Energy Performance Diagnosis (in french, DPE), electrical or gas diagnosis is planned, the electricity meter must be accessible, as well as all the installations using  electricity and gas, and the energy installations for the DPE. If you already possess diagnostic reports, prepare them for consultation by the diagnostician.
